Situation Room: No-goal call upheld

Challenge Initiated By: Situation Room
Type of Challenge: Goaltender Interference
Result: Call on the ice is confirmed - No goal New York

Explanation: Video review confirmed that New York's Ryan Strome interfered with Cam Talbot by pushing his pad, which caused the puck to enter the net. The decision was made in accordance of Rule 69.7, which states in part, "In the event that a goalkeeper has been pushed into the net together with the puck by an attacking player after making a stop, the goal will be disallowed."
NOTE: In the final minute of play in the third period and at any point in overtime (regular season and playoffs), Hockey Operations will initiate the review of any scenario that would otherwise be subject to a Coach's Challenge (off-side, goaltender interference and missed stoppage).
