Aw, nuts. As in packing peanuts. A whole lot of them.
The Minnesota Wild pranked rookie forward Brandon Duhaime with a classic -- filling his car up with small styrofoam packing peanuts. Wild players each took a look at the filled up SUV before departing from Xcel Energy Center in a video shared by the team on Monday.
The team teased a picture of the prank on Sunday, the same day they clinched a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 5-4 overtime victory against the San Jose Sharks.
The car full of packing peanuts is not new , but it's always good for a laugh, assuming it is not your car. To make matters worse, Duhaime was also giving teammate Connor Dewar a ride, so the packing peanuts had to be cleaned out of both the driver and passenger seats before heading out. But hey, at least now we know the car is safely packed for shipping.
