Marner and Twain

Mitchell Marner is Still The One.

The Toronto Maple Leafs forward played on his fiancee Stephanie LaChance's love for Shania Twain on Friday, attending the iconic singer's concert in Toronto. Marner even had a special surprise for LaChance, getting Twain to bring the couple on stage during the show.

"Tonight, I received a very sweet message from a fan you might know," Twain said to the audience before introducing Marner. "That's if you like hockey. Of course, we love hockey! You guys know who I'm talking about here: Mitch Marner!

"Mitch said: 'My fiancee is your No. 1 fan. When she was young, she used to make up dances for all your songs. This is a big surprise for her tonight and I'm hoping she remembers some of the moves.'"

She then brought Marner and LaChance, slated to be married this summer, onstage to join her.

"Canada has so much talent and it's such an honor to have you up here Mitch," Twain said. "You're such a philanthropist; you do so much for charity. You're just a really amazing representative for Canada."

Twain then started singing her 2002 single, "Up!" while the couple got to dance along on stage.

And of course, the visit wouldn't have been complete without an epic selfie, which Marner later posted on his Instagram.

Contrary to Twain's hit song, "That Don't Impress Me Much," Marner's fiancee was surely very much impressed.
