Moritz Seider's dad was the life of the party on Thursday.

Kay Seider hyped up the Detroit Red Wings suite while watching the team take on the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.
The Red Wings defenseman's father was giving out fist bumps and embracing fans after Oskar Sundqvist's goal gave Detroit a 3-2 lead in the second period. Moritz had an assist on the goal.
Kay also started a chant among the dads and mentors sitting in the suite.

Detroit is currently hosting player's fathers and mentors for their two-game road trip. Earlier today, they posed for pictures on the Bell Centre ice.

Tomorrow the group will travel to New York for the Red Wings matchup against the New York Islanders.
The party is just getting started.
