Arvidsson, 25, who has five goals and three assists during a six-game point streak, was placed on injured reserve Monday with a lower-body injured sustained Saturday in a 5-4 overtime win at the Dallas Stars. He had 61 points in each of the past two seasons. Arvidsson had been activated from IR before the game in Dallas after missing three games, but he left in the third period after crashing into the boards.
The Buffalo Sabres started 10-0-0 on the road in 2006-07, and the New Jersey Devils started 9-0-0 in 2009-10.
The Ducks are 2-7-2 in their past 11 games after a 5-1-1 start. They are 7-0-2 when allowing two goals or fewer in regulation.

Jarnkrok took part in the morning skate after missing the game in Dallas with a lower-body injury and is a game-time decision. ... Kase could make his season debut after sustaining a concussion in a preseason game against the Los Angeles Kings on Sept. 26. He tied for second on the Ducks with 20 goals in 66 games last season.
