Michael McCarron will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Sunday.

The Nashville Predators forward is facing discipline for an illegal check to the head of Tampa Bay Lightning forward Yanni Gourde.
The incident occurred with 25 seconds left in the third period of Nashville's 3-0 loss at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday. McCarron was given a match penalty at 19:37.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
