Preds warmups

The Nashville Predators wore specially designed warmup jerseys in honor of Black History Month before their game against the Vegas Golden Knights at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.

The sweaters sport a Kente cloth inspired Predators logo on the front and include a mosaic maze pattern on the shoulder pads.
Kente originates from Ghana, West Africa and was originally worn by royalty and during special occasions.

The Predators wore T-shirts with the same design as the sweaters as they walked into the arena before the game.

The warmup jerseys were designed by Eric Jackson, a graphic design professor at Tennessee State University.
"I was thinking] about the Nashville Predators, the Nashville community and the things that we have encountered in the past several years," Jackson
[told the Predators

. "We're still going, and we have definitely overcome so many different obstacles. And I thought that was very well representative of the Predators as well as they continue to climb and become a better team and hopefully one day bring home that Stanley Cup."
