Stastny, who was traded to the Jets by the St. Louis Blues on Monday for a conditional first-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, and forward prospect Erik Foley, will center a line between Nikolaj Ehlers and Patrik Laine.
Goalie Connor Hellebuyck will start for Winnipeg, which has won two straight games. Goalie Pekka Rinne will start for Nashville, which has won four in a row.
Forward Ryan Hartman will debut for the Predators. He was traded by the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday with a fifth-round pick in the 2018 draft for a first-round pick and a fourth-round pick in the 2018 draft and forward prospect Victor Ejdsell.
