WINNIPEG -- The Winnipeg Jets clinched a berth into the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 5-4 shootout win against the Nashville Predators at Bell MTS Place on Sunday.
Kyle Connor had goal and two assists, and Dustin Byfuglien and Bryan Little also scored for the Jets (46-19-10), who are five points behind the Predators for first place in the Central Division and have won five in a row. Connor Hellebuyck made 32 saves.
Winnipeg failed to qualify for the playoffs the previous two seasons.
