Kadri cake Short Shifts 10616

Nazem Kadri turned 26 on Thursday and celebrated with the most Toronto Maple Leafs cake ever.
Made by Le Dolci bakery in Toronto, it features three tiers of cookies and cream cake, and the scoreboard, puck and hockey stick are made of Rice Krispy treats, owner Lisa Sanguedolci told NHL.com.

The puck was made to look like it is smashing through the glass and the shards are made out of isomalt, a sugar substitute that cake decorators use to replicate glass. It took three of Le Dolci's artists and sculptors two days to make the cake, which was a surprise that Kadri's girlfriend arranged.
The bakery also posted the cake to its Instagram account with the caption, "@43kadri you're our fave @mapleleafs (don't tell the others) #goleafsgo."
With a cake like this one, that's no surprise to hear.
