In the new Disney+ series that is available for streaming today, the beloved Mighty Ducks are now the ultracompetitive powerhouse, leaving 12-year-old Evan Morrow (played by Brady Noon) out in the cold.
Even though the roles have been flipped, the underdog spirit is alive and well as Morrow and his mother Alex (played by Lauren Graham) set out to make a team of their own with fellow scrappy kids who don't quite measure up to the elite Mighty Ducks.

Along for the ride with Noon are Maxwell Simkins (Nick "The Podcaster"), Swayam Bhatia (Sofi Hudson-Batra "The Ringer"), Luke Islam (Koob "The Gamer"), Kiefer O'Reilly (Logan "The Hair"), Taegen Burns (Maya "The Popular Girl"), Bella Higginbotham (Lauren "The Warrior Princess"), and DJ Watts (Sam "The Daredevil"), who each got their own character poster showing them getting smushed into the glass.
Emilio Estevez reprises his role as Gordon Bombay, whom Graham's character pulls out of an old rink to lead her son's team of underachievers.
Other original movie cast members Marguerite Moreau (Connie Moreau), Elden Henson (Fulton Reed), Matt Doherty (Lester Averman), Vinny La Russo (Adam Banks), Garrette Henson (Guy Germaine) and Justin Wong (Kenny Wu) will also make an appearance later in the series.
A new episode of the series will be released each week on the Disney+ streaming platform.
