TOR@BOS, Gm7: Julian Edelman fires up the crowd

Tom Brady might have an offseason job for Zdeno Chara.

The New England Patriots six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback was apparently scouting the Boston Bruins captain as a replacement for the recently retired Rob Gronkowski while supporting the Bruins in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Julian Edelman, the Patriots wide receiver and MVP of Super Bowl LIII
who spiked a puck at a Bruins game

Edelman did his job, first firing up the crowd by flying the Bruins flag before the game then hyping up the team by chugging a beverage on the scoreboard television during the first period.
"Julian Edelman chugging a beer was awesome," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said. "It probably got everyone fired up, including us. Good for him. We'll have to repay him at some point down the road. I thought it was awesome."
