Defenseman Kyle Quincey on Wednesday agreed to terms with the New Jersey Devils on a one-year, one-way contract worth $1.25 million.
Quincey (6-foot-2, 216 pounds) became an unrestricted free agent on July 1 after spending the past four-plus seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, scoring 14 goals and 48 points in 256 games. He has played eight full seasons in the NHL, including three with the Colorado Avalanche (2009-12) and one with the Los Angeles Kings (2008-09).
