There are highlight-reel goals and then there's whatever Blake Coleman orchestrated for his second goal of the New Jersey Devils' game against the Winnipeg Jets on Friday.
The Devils forward chased down P.K. Subban's long-distance flip pass and somehow lifted the puck with one hand on his stick past Jets goalie Laurent Brossoit as he was falling. The two TV calls and radio call expressed similar shock at the fact that the puck actually went into the net. It looked like Coleman and his teammates were equally stunned at the result.
