Keith Kinkaid will make his fourth straight start for the Devils, who will be without Cory Schneider for the fifth straight game. Schneider hasn't played since Jan. 23, when he injured his groin in the second period of a 3-2 loss at the Boston Bruins.
Forward Taylor Hall, the No. 1 pick in the 2010 NHL Draft, will play in his 500th NHL game.
Goaltender Craig Anderson will start for the Senators, who will try for their third win in their past four games.

Status report

The Devils will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen, as they did Saturday in their 3-1 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins. With the injuries to Brassard and Thompson, the Senators recalled McCormick from Belleville of the American Hockey League and also will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Stone practiced but will not play; he said he might be able to play Thursday against the Nashville Predators. Wideman wore a tracksuit and toque when he skated before practice for the first time since sustaining a hamstring injury on Nov. 16.
