The Islanders will try for their first road win this season when they open a four-game trip in Anaheim. It's first of three games against California teams.
The Ducks have led for 3:30 of the 180:44 they've played in their first three games. Center Ryan Getzlaf made his season debut in a 2-0 loss to the Calgary Flames on Monday and forward Patrick Eaves (lower-body injury), who has yet to play this season, will be a game-time decision.

Players to watch

Islanders forward Josh Bailey has six points (three goals, three assists) and is plus-5 in during New York's winning streak against the Ducks. He scored the overtime goal in a 3-2 win against Anaheim at Barclays Center on Oct. 16, 2016.
Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler has 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in 11 career games against the Islanders, the only NHL team he averages at least one point a game against.

Clutterbuck is on the trip, which continues Saturday at the San Jose Sharks and Sunday at the Los Angeles Kings, but will miss his third straight game. … Kase left in the first period against the Calgary Flames on Monday.
