Brendan Lemieux NYR

Brendan Lemieux of the New York Rangers will be suspended for his hit against Colorado Avalanche forward Joonas Donskoi, the NHL Department of Player Safety said Friday.

The precise parameters of the suspension will be determined and announced once resumption of play guidelines have been established. The NHL announced Thursday it was pausing the season because of the coronavirus.
The incident occurred with 2:52 remaining in the third period of the Rangers' 3-2 overtime loss at Pepsi Center on Wednesday. Lemieux, a forward, received a minor penalty for interference. Donskoi did not play the remainder of the game.
Lemieux was fined $2,000 for elbowing Vegas Golden Knights forward
