NHL app debuts new feature

NEW YORK - With the 2017 Stanley Cup® Playoffs only two weeks away, the NHL® App today delivered newly-developed access for hockey fans to customize the app's icons, prominently featuring a designated favorite NHL team logo on iPhone and iPad homescreens. This latest app update comes with the recent release of iOS 10.3.

NHL App users already have the ability to customize their in-app experiences to feature a designated team's complete information, including scores, news, video highlights and more. Starting today, the customized club-branded app icons allow fans the opportunity to showcase the logo of a participating NHL team on their iPhone and iPad homescreens. Users will continue to receive the full array of team-centric features within the NHL App.
A similar feature will be available for Android devices in the coming months.
