Chicago Blackhawks

Kirby Dach (right shoulder sprain) and Connor Murphy (concussion) and are not expected to play the final three regular-season games for the Blackhawks.
The forward and defenseman skated wearing non-contact jerseys prior to Chicago's 3-1 win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.
"Yeah I would love to have them, but I don't think that's what our game plan is," Blackhawks coach Derek King said. "I think all the guys who are hurt, it's more just, when they leave here, they know that they're OK to skate, work out and have a good summer instead of being halfway through summer and you're still not cleared and you don't know where you are. At least they know leaving here they're cleared to do full activities."
Dach has been out since leaving early in the third period of a 5-4 shootout win against the San Jose Sharks on April 14. He's scored 26 points (nine goals, 17 assists) in 70 games this season.
Murphy has not played since being taken off on a stretcher during the first period of a 6-3 win against the Ottawa Senators on March 12. He's scored 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 57 games. -- Tracey Myers

Carolina Hurricanes

Antti Raanta left a 5-2 win against the New York Islanders on Sunday with a lower-body injury.
The goalie was injured making a save at 12:57 of the second period.
Goalie Frederik Andersen has missed four games with a lower-body injury and will be reevaluated in the next few days.
Alex Lyon
, who is with Chicago of the American Hockey League, also is out with an injury, leaving Pyotr Kochetkov,
Jack LaFontaine
and
Dylan Wells
as healthy options for the Hurricanes with two games remaining before the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
"I don't know, and I don't know how bad 'Raants' is," Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour said. "I'm hoping it's not too serious. We'll know more in a couple of days."
Carolina did not practice Monday after back-to-back wins against the Islanders and New Jersey Devils. The Hurricanes visit the New York Rangers on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; MSG, BSSO, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
Kochetkov made seven saves to help the Hurricanes extend their lead to four points on the Rangers for first in the Metropolitan Division. New York has a game in hand.
Kochetkov became the fourth Carolina/Hartford Whalers goalie to win his NHL debut and first since David Ayres (Feb. 22, 2020) with 17 saves in a 3-2 overtime victory at the Devils on Saturday, one day after he was recalled from the AHL on an emergency basis.
"What are you going to do, cry over it or what?" Brind'Amour said. "We just to have to keep moving forward. Thankfully we brought [Kochetkov] over. It's not what you drew up, it's not what you want happen, injuries to anybody especially to goalies, but hopefully neither (Raanta nor Andersen) will be too serious and we'll get them back." -- Jon Lane

Edmonton Oilers

Darnell Nurse will be out at least one more game for the Oilers because of a lower-body injury.
The defenseman is day to day and missed a 5-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday. He was injured late in the second period of a 6-3 victory against the Colorado Avalanche on Friday.
"We don't think it's anything major," Oilers coach Jay Woodcroft said before the game Sunday.
When asked if Nurse would be ready when the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin next week, Woodcroft said, "We'll see."
Nurse and forward Jesse Puljujarvi (illness) did not make a trip that ends against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday. Nurse has scored 35 points (nine goals, 26 assists) and is plus-18 in 71 games. He leads the Oilers in ice time per game (25:03) and blocked shots (132).-- Craig Merz
