Tampa Bay Lightning

Mikhail Sergachev will return for the Lightning when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; TSN4, BSSUNX, SN NOW, ESPN+).
The defenseman has missed the past two games after sustaining an upper-body injury on Dec. 13 in a 6-2 win against the Seattle Kraken.
"I'm feeling really good," Sergachev said. "It's only the second time I'm missing a couple games like that for injury or suspension so I felt like it was a good time for me to reset my head and work on the things I need to work on and work on my conditioning obviously. I did that and I feel really good."
Sergachev, who was a full participant in practice on Monday on a pairing with Zach Bogosian, has 27 points (five goals, 22 assists) in 28 games this season. He has 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) on the power play.
"He's learned how to defend, how to play all 200 feet," coach Jon Cooper said. "He kind of came in as a puck possession rover but defending was not at the forefront for him and now he's fantastic at it. … We've worked him into some important power-play time and he'll get more in the future as well. He's become an integral part of our organization and future for the next eight years." -- Dave McCarthy

Andrew Cogliano will be out the next two games after the Avalanche forward sustained an upper-body injury in a 1-0 shootout win against the New York Islanders on Monday.
He did not play after the 13:39 mark of the third period.

Chinakhov has 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 30 games.

Columbus also recalled goalie Jet Greaves from Cleveland of the American Hockey League with Elvis Merzlikins out with an illness. Greaves will back up Daniil Tarasov against the Philadelphia Flyers (7 p.m. ET; NBSCP, BSOH, ESPN+, SN NOW).

"No, he's excited," Larsen said. "Another good other young guy. No excuses." -- Adam Kimelman

"He's the coach, I'm the player," Hayes said Monday. "He makes the lineup. He wants the best team on the ice to win, and that's what he went with."
Hayes leads Philadelphia with 29 points (nine goals, 20 assists) in 31 games. He also has a minus-10 even-strength goal differential.
"I have to make decisions on people," Flyers coach John Tortorella said. I have to hold a standard for everybody, and that's how it's going to be."

The goalie practiced took part in the morning skate Tuesday after being recalled from his conditioning stint with Utica of the American Hockey League on Monday.

Blackwood was assigned to Utica on Dec. 12 and went 1-1-0 with a 3.03 goals-against average and .891 save percentage in two games.
