NHL celebrating hockey moms with Mother's Day TV spot

NEW YORK / CHICAGO - The National Hockey League (NHL) today unveiled a new TV spot celebrating hockey moms in honor of Mother's Day. The spot will run this weekend during Stanley Cup Playoffs Second Round game broadcasts on TNT, ESPN, SN, and CBC, as well as on the NHL's digital and social media platforms.

Created with the NHL's creative agency Highdive, the spot features a montage of footage clips showing five NHL moms joining in their sons' Stanley Cup championship celebrations. Mothers of current and former NHL Players can be seen embracing their sons on the ice, hoisting the trophy and partaking in a celebratory sip from the Cup. Paying tribute to the bond between a mother and her son, the spot culminates with the end card: "You don't raise the Cup without the woman who raised you. Thank you, hockey moms."
