The interactive fan experience is in Edmonton through Sunday, set up adjacent to Rogers Place.
"I've been doing this just over the past few years, I've been to most of the Canadian cities, I just have Vancouver left," Keddy said after getting his picture taken in the virtual locker room set up in the 53-foot museum truck. "It's pretty sweet that this is here. It's cool to see all the personalized stuff with the city and everything. I liked the (locker room) picture. That's pretty cool."
Keddy, 29, grew up a Toronto Maple Leafs fan in Nova Scotia, although he wore a Connor McDavid Oilers jersey touring the museum truck in Edmonton.
Stevenson, 29, is a Colorado Avalanche fan and was excited to see a vintage Colorado Rockies jersey among the historical memorabilia on display.
"I was a big fan of Patrick Roy," Stevenson said. "When I was young, the Avalanche became a team and I loved their logo and so I started watching them. There are a lot of Montreal and Toronto fans in Newfoundland, so I was the odd-man out."
Along with the mobile museum, the attraction also features a giant video screen displaying Oilers highlights, a ball hockey rink and numerous attraction booths. The Stanley Cup also was on hand.
Edmontonians Matt Jeffrey, 26, Tyson Shank, 19, and Calvin Newton, 26, were excited for their opportunity to take their picture with the Stanley Cup and brought along their own trophy to commemorate the occasion.
"This is the trophy for our fantasy hockey league," Shank said. "It's called the Ron MacLean trophy signed by (CBC Hockey Night in Canada host) Ron MacLean himself. We met him last year and he signed our trophy and took some pictures with it and held it. This is our chance to have both trophies in one place."
