NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The National Hockey League will host the second annual NHL Mascot Showdown™ featuring all 26 NHL Mascots™ during the 2016 Honda NHL® All-Star festivities in Nashville, Jan. 28-31. Thirteen Western Conference Mascots, led by the Nashville's own Gnash™, will face 13 Eastern Conference Mascots, led by Columbus Blue Jackets' Stinger™, in four days of friendly but fierce competition, including an all-mascot NHL All-Star Game prior to the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Skills Competition™ at Bridgestone Arena.

NHL in-arena host Mike Todd will handle play-by-play duties for each event. Select young fans in attendance will be able to take part in the warm up and stretching session prior to each planned event.

"Last year's inaugural NHL Mascot Showdown was an amazing success, offering something new and entertaining for fans of every age and we are thrilled to expand the involvement of our NHL Mascots this year in Nashville," said Dave McCarthy, NHL Vice President of Consumer Products Marketing. "NHL All-Star is a true celebration of hockey and our NHL Mascots are terrific ambassadors for their teams and the sport.
