* Another unsung hero of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs emerged after Ty Dellandrea tallied twice in a span of 1:27 in the third period - including registering the game winner - and became just the fourth player to record their first career multi-goal outing when his team was facing elimination in the round before the Stanley Cup Final.

* Dallas became the third team in NHL history to earn consecutive comeback wins when facing elimination in the Conference Finals/Semifinals.

* More League trends emerged Saturday after the Stars earned the fourth comeback win of the 2023 Western Conference Final and registered the 45th victory by a road team this postseason.

DELLANDREA RECORDS FIRST-EVER MULTI-GOAL GAME TO HELP STARS FORCE GAME 6
After falling behind 1-0 and 2-1, a new unsung hero emerged for Dallas as Ty Dellandrea recorded his first-ever multi-goal outing - doing so in a span of 1:27 in the third period - to allow the Stars to extend their season and force Game 6 at American Airlines Center on Monday.

* The Stars earned a comeback win when facing elimination for the second straight game to extend their series - this marked the second time in franchise history the club has staved off elimination with consecutive come-from-behind victories after doing so as the North Stars in Game 6 and Game 7 of the 1980 Quarterfinals against Montreal.

* Dellandrea became just the fourth player to record their first career multi-goal outing (regular season or playoffs) in a game which his team was facing elimination in the Conference Final/Semifinal. The others: Eddie Mazur in Game 7 of the 1953 Semifinals (w/ MTL), Johnny Peirson in Game 4 of the 1948 Semifinals (w/ BOS) and Charlie Sands in Game 4 of the 1933 Semifinals (w/ TOR). Dellandrea had only three multi-point performances to his name entering Saturday, with all of those coming during the regular season.

* Jason Robertson scored his fifth goal of the 2023 Western Conference Final and has accounted for 42% of the Stars' goals this series (5/12). Only three other players in Stars/North Stars history have had as many in a round before the final: Brett Hull (5 in 2000), Jamie Langenbrunner (5 in 1999) and Bill Goldsworthy (5 in 1968).

* Robertson registered his third goal in games when facing elimination this postseason - only two players in franchise history have scored more in a single playoff year: Bill Goldsworthy (5 in 1968) and Milan Marcetta (4 in 1968). All three of those goals have come in the past two contests to help Dallas earn consecutive comeback wins to extend its season.
