NHL Network will air a non-traditional game broadcast of the Pittsburgh Penguins at Detroit Red Wings for their final "NHL Network Showcase" of the season Saturday.
The broadcast is viewed as a two-and-a-half hour live look-in including free flowing conversation, reaction and analysis from hosts E.J. Hradek, Jackie Redmond, Mike Rupp and Kevin Weekes. It is NHL Network's first time producing this type of broadcast. Hradek and Redmond took to Twitter to voice their excitement for Saturday.
Talent will call the game live from NHL Network's studios in Secaucus, New Jersey. The broadcast will not be available in Pittsburgh and Detroit markets. It is the second week in a row the network has produced a unique telecast for "NHL Network Showcase". Last Saturday,
