Welcome to the 2022-23 NHL training camp buzz. Training camp is underway for all 32 teams and NHL.com has you covered with all the latest news.

Anaheim Ducks

Trevor Zegras is day to day with an upper-body injury.
Zegras was briefly on the ice for the morning skate Sunday but did not play in a 2-1 preseason loss at the Los Angeles Kings.
He was injured in the second period of a 3-1 win against the Arizona Coyotes on Sept. 28 when he was hit by Coyotes forward
Jan Jeník
at center ice. He briefly remained on the ice before being helped to the locker room.
Jenik was not penalized for the play.
Zegras, 21, was second among NHL rookies with 61 points (23 goals, 38 assists) in 75 games last season.

Tampa Bay Lightning

The Lightning returned home Sunday and practiced at Amalie Arena after they moved training camp to Nashville for several days because of Hurricane Ian.
Coach Jon Cooper said that the practice was the first day of the second half of camp. The roster was reduced by nine players Sunday with 29 left excluding injured forward Anthony Cirelli and defenseman Zach Bogosian.
"We have to thank Nashville for everything they did, opening their doors to us to be able to hold a training camp there," Cooper said. "Now it's time to really focus. We're back here. We were scheduled to go to Naples and now we're not, for obvious reasons."
The Lightning will hold remaining practices at the TGH IcePlex, in Brandon, Florida. They have two preseason games remaining, Thursday at the Florida Panthers and Saturday at home against the Panthers.
"We're missing some guys, we have a ton of new guys and [to see] where everybody fits … it takes games to do that," Cooper said. "The lines [Sunday] probably won't be the same as they will be by the end of the week."
Cooper said it was good to get back to the business of playing hockey, but hard not to think about the areas of Florida that were damaged by Ian. The southwest part of the state, about 75 miles south of Tampa, was hit hardest.
"It's upsetting to see what's going on just south of us, what could've happened to us and what actually happened down there," Cooper said. "It's still on everybody's minds, but we somehow have to find a way to focus on our jobs. We're going to do everything we can on the ice to help everybody and off the ice as well." -- Corey Long

Chicago Blackhawks

Boris Katchouk is out 4-6 weeks with a left ankle sprain.
The forward was injured during a 3-0 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. Katchouk had one goal in 21 games for the Blackhawks last season.
Forward Jujhar Khaira is day to day with a right ankle injury; he had three goals in 27 games for Chicago last season.
The Blackhawks play their regular-season opener Oct. 12 at the Colorado Avalanche.

Philadelphia Flyers

Carter Hart expects to play the season opener against the Devils.
The goalie sustained a lower-body injury Sunday but has been skating and was cleared for non-contact practice Friday.
Hart is not on the roster for the Flyers' preseason game at the New York Islanders on Sunday. He did not play in a 4-0 loss at the Boston Bruins on Saturday.
"I'll be ready," Hart said. "Just more so being cautious than anything, making sure that I'm 100 percent. It's a long year. I think that's kind of with everybody right now, making sure that everybody's fully healthy and fully ready to go on opening night."
Hart missed the final nine games of last season because of a lower-body injury sustained April 12.
"I'm feeling better," he said. "Last few days felt better on the ice. Hoping to play here one of these last few [preseason] games before the regular season starts. Definitely would be nice to get into a game here.
"It's been a long time since we played an actual hockey game, for myself, so definitely would be nice to get into at least one game here." -- Adam Kimelman

New Jersey Devils

Nico Hischier is questionable for the start of the regular season Oct. 13 at the the Philadelphia Flyers because of a hamstring strain.
"I really can't answer [if Hischier will play the opener]," Devils coach Lindy Ruff said. "I would say 'yes,' but there's no guarantee that's possible. I think it's something we would probably, in the big picture, hope would happen.
"He's not limping. He's very optimistic. I'm optimistic. I'm going to stay guarded on [his availability]."
The center was limited to 6:24 of ice time in a 2-1 preseason win at the Montreal Canadiens on Sept. 26 because of cramping and missed a 4-1 preseason win against the New York Islanders the following day and a 5-2 preseason victory at the New York Rangers on Thursday.
