Nicolas Deslauriers signed a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday. Financial terms were not announced.
The 28-year-old forward, who has seven points (two goals, five assists) and 80 penalty minutes in 45 games this season, could have become an unrestricted free agent July 1. Selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the third round (No. 84) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Deslauriers has 56 points (26 goals, 30 assists) and 343 penalty minutes in 362 games with the Ducks, Montreal Canadiens, and Buffalo Sabres.
