Teams departing for Stanley Cup Qualifiers say goodbyes, find stowaways

NHL teams departed for Stanley Cup Qualifiers on Sunday, but not before saying some special goodbyes.

Players and teams took to social media before heading out to their respective bubbles and the results ranged from super stylish to downright adorable.

Florida Panthers forward Noel Acciari shared a picture of his newborn boy, Greyson Drew, sitting inside his backpack on the day the team left for Toronto for 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifiers.

Acciari posted the adorable photo, where he was holding Greyson half inside one of his bags and called his newborn son, born July 7, a "stowaway."

Players and teams took to social media on Sunday to say goodbye to their families as play is set to resume on Saturday.

Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy jokingly wanted his dog to be added to the roster. He shared a picture of his pup hiding in his luggage.

The Toronto Maple Leafs were more than ready for the influx of the world's greatest hockey players.
