Edmonton Oilers general manager Peter Chiarelli said Monday he has not decided whether he wants to trade or use the No. 4 pick at the 2016 NHL Draft next month in Buffalo.
"I'm looking to look at all options," Chiarelli told Sportsnet at the Memorial Cup. "We've got to improve now, but there are some pretty good future players out here now."

Chiarelli said earlier this month he had fielded calls from teams about acquiring the fourth pick and would consider trading it for an NHL player if the right deal came along. The Oilers have missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs 10 straight seasons and will play in a new arena, Rogers Place, next season.
"There's going to be some pretty good players available at [No.] 4, but we may look to move down and use a pick to get an asset," Chiarelli said. "We owe it to the fans to get better in a relatively short period of time."
Chiarelli said he has scouted Finnish defenseman Olli Juolevi as an option if the Oilers keep the pick. The London Knights prospect is ranked No. 5 on NHL Central Scouting's final list of North American skaters eligible for the draft.
"We're looking at him very closely," Chiarelli said. "He's very smart. You've got to be a real smart, cerebral type of defenseman to succeed in the NHL, and he's got that."
