Oskar Sundqvist signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old forward was an unrestricted free agent. He had 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) in 67 games for the Minnesota Wild and Detroit Red Wings last season, including seven points (three goals, four assists) in 15 games after he was acquired in a trade with the Red Wings on March 3. He scored one goal in one Stanley Cup Playoff game.

Sundqvist played five seasons for the Blues from 2017-22, winning the Stanley Cup with them in 2019. He had 83 points (35 goals, 48 assists) in 242 regular-season games for St. Louis and 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 34 playoff games.

Selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round (No. 81) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Sundqvist has 123 points (50 goals, 73 assists) in 355 regular-season games for the Wild, Red Wings, Blues and Penguins, and 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 37 playoff games.
