Zach Sanford was traded to the Winnipeg Jets by the Ottawa Senators for a fifth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft on Monday.
The 27-year-old forward has scored 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) in 62 games with the Senators this season.
Also on Monday, the Jets acquired forward Morgan Barron and three draft picks from the New York Rangers for forward Andrew Copp. On Saturday, they also acquired Mason Appleton from the Seattle Kraken for a fourth-round pick in the 2-23 NHL Draft. The Jets lost Appleton to Seattle in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft.
