Who needs to cuddle a teddy bear when you have the Greatest Trophy in All of Sports?
Alex Ovechkin cuddled up with the Stanley Cup on Saturday, sharing the bed usually reserved for him and wife Nastya. Saying the Washington Capitals captain has enjoyed his time with the Cup would be an understatement and both clearly needed some rest after a whirlwind Saturday that started at the Washington Nationals game in the afternoon .
Ovechkin and his wife both shared images of the Conn Smythe winner sleeping with the Cup on Instagram, with Nastya's photo also including the forward reassigning the family dog to the floor next to the bed. Considering the Ovechkins used the Prince of Wales Trophy as a dining-room centerpiece , it's no surprise the Cup got such a choice spot in the house.
