It was Panda-monium in the stands at the Washington Capitals game and it couldn't get any cuter.
The Capitals had cardboard cutouts of three pandas - Tian Tian, Mei Xiang and Xiao Qi Ji - residents of the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute - in the seats at Capital One Arena for their game against the New York Islanders on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, the National Zoo shared a hype video of one of the pandas chowing down on a sticks [the non-hockey kind] and some "pucks."
This 🐼 panda playmaker prefers eating his hockey stick and puck🏒. 👀 Look for pandamonium in the stands at tonight’s @Capitals game! Sending our home team + hometown ❤️ Go Caps! #ALLCAPS#PandaStorypic.twitter.com/d195UoiPh9
