Anton Stralman was traded to the Arizona Coyotes by the Florida Panthers on Monday for a seventh-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.

The Coyotes also received defenseman Vladislav Kolyachonok and a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.

Stralman, a defenseman, turns 35 Aug. 1. He scored nine points (three goals, six assists) in 38 regular-season games and no points in five Stanley Cup Playoff games for the Panthers this season.

He has one season remaining on the three-year contract he signed with Florida on July 1, 2019.

Selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the seventh round (No. 216) of the 2005 NHL Draft, Stralman has scored 270 points (55 goals, 215 assists) in 856 games with the Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Maple Leafs, New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets. He has 26 points (six goals, 20 assists) in 113 playoff games.

Kolyachonok had two assists in 10 games for Syracuse of the American Hockey League this season and six points (one goal, five assists) in 46 games for Minsk Dynamo of the Kontinental Hockey League. The 20-year-old was a second-round pick (No. 52) by the Panthers at the 2019 NHL Draft.
