Roy tosses puck to fan wearing his shirt behind bench

Patrick Roy had sharp eyes on Thursday.

The New York Islanders head coach tossed a puck to a fan wearing his T-shirt behind the bench during the team’s game against the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center.

Roy spotted the fan and held up a puck before throwing it over the glass.

The fan sported a T-shirt that had Roy’s name and a picture of him in his Colorado Avalanche goalie gear.

Both Roy and the fan were all smiles after the exchange.

Safe to say, both days were made.
