Pavel Buchnevich will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Thursday.

The New York Rangers forward is facing discipline for high-sticking Washington Capitals forward Anthony Mantha.
The incident occurred 4:39 into the second period of New York's 4-2 loss at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. Buchnevich was given a major penalty for cross-checking and a game misconduct.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: high-sticking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
