Pediatric patient writes special song for Panthers before Game 6 of Stanley Cup Final

A young fan is singing the praises of the Florida Panthers with the help of a light-up microphone.

Aniyah, a pediatric patient at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in South Florida, wrote and performed a special song for her favorite team before Game 6 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.

With the help of hospital staff, the young fan performed her tune holding a pink karaoke microphone that lit up while sporting a Panthers scarf.

“Good luck to the Panthers,” Aniyah sung on a video posted to social media. “I hope you win.”

She ended the song with a “Let’s go Panthers” chant.

The Panthers responded to the video saying it brought a smile to their face.

A week after the Panthers won the Stanley Cup, Carter Verhaeghe and his wife, Casey, surprised Aniyah with a visit. They brought her Panthers swag and her own Stanley Cup.
