Pittsburgh Penguins forward Carl Hagelin is expected to miss a minimum of four weeks because of a lower-body injury.
Penguins coach Mike Sullivan made the announcement after Pittsburgh extended its win streak to five games with a 3-0 victory against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on Saturday. "That's just one more injury that we are going to have to find a way to overcome," Sullivan said. The Penguins are also without forwards Patric Hornqvist (concussion), Matt Cullen (undisclosed) and Bryan Rust (upper body), and defensemen Kris Letang (upper body), Trevor Daley (knee) and Olli Maatta (hand). Hagelin has six goals and 16 assists in 61 games this season. He played 17:32 in Pittsburgh's 3-2 shootout win at the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.
