pens menu domingue split

Now that's a spicy media meal.

The Pittsburgh Penguins served up an interesting choice to members of the press covering Game 3 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the New York Rangers at PPG Paints Arena on Saturday.
The choice?
Spicy pork and broccoli.

If that sounds familiar, you may remember that was what Penguins backup goalie Louis Domingue
ate between the first and second overtime periods of Game 1
, before spelling an injured Casey DeSmith and stopping all 17 shots he faced en route to a three overtime win.
The Penguins had a little extra on the menu as well adding garlic mashed potatoes and green bean almondine.
Here's a live look at the plating:

There was also fresh fruit, cookies and an ice cream bar for dessert. Luckily, there is a less than zero chance a media member will be asked to fill in between the pipes.
