NEWARK, N.J.-- Cory Schneider made 16 saves for his first shutout of the season to help end a seven-game losing streak for the New Jersey Devils in a 4-0 win against the Philadelphia Flyers at Prudential Center on Thursday.
PA Parenteau had a goal and an assist, and Miles Wood, Adam Henrique and Kyle Palmieri also scored for the Devils (13-13-7), who are 1-6-1 in the past eight games.
"It's nice to get back on track and play some good, hard hockey," Parenteau said. "There's no reason to believe we can't play like this more often. This was a tough stretch and no one was happy in this locker room."
