"We knew they were going to come out hard in the first, and they did," Horvat said. "I thought we weathered that pretty [well and] our game just kind of took off from there. As soon as we got that first one it just kind of kept going."
Nelson made it 2-0 at 7:50 of the second period, scoring blocker side from the right face-off circle after receiving a stretch pass from Dobson.
"[Sebastian Aho] made a good play on the 1-on-1 to break it up, and then I just tried to get my head up, and [Nelson] does a good job of finding space," Dobson said. "You give him that much time, he's usually automatic from there. So it's a big goal and he did a great job finishing."
