The Toronto Maple Leafs forward is facing discipline for high-sticking Los Angeles Kings defenseman Sean Durzi on Thursday.
The incident occurred in the neutral zone at 1:07 of the third period of the Maple Leafs' 5-0 win at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Engvall received a match penalty on the play. Durzi did not leave the game.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: high-sticking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
