PK Christmas

P.K. Subban is back spreading holiday cheer, this time as a 75-year-old man named "Eddie."

The Nashville Predators defenseman went all out for the fourth year in a row to stage an elaborate surprise for unsuspecting people in his community. He started by handing out candy canes, free hotel stays and Predators tickets around Nashville, then got to the main event.

He surprised a family that he met through his Blueline Buddies program, which invites underprivileged young people in Nashville to attend Predators games with members of local law enforcement, with a number of gifts. In addition to giving them a new living room furniture set, Subban brought in his friend, Montreal-based chef Antonio Park, to prepare a four-course holiday feast for the family.

Subban's holiday surprises are an annual event that started in 2014 when he dressed up as a bus driver for a youth hockey team, then took the ice with them.

In 2015, he gathered patients at the Montreal Children's Hospital, where he's pledged $10 million in donations, to wrap presents, only to reveal an extravagant winter wonderland waiting for all the kids.

Last year, his first year in Nashville,
he took a group of kids for a sleigh ride
around the city before taking them on a shopping spree in the team store while country music star Dierks Bentley performed.

You never know what Subban's got planned for his surprises, but this year, like all the others, encompasses everything that's great about the holidays.
