The Nashville Predators defenseman went all out for the fourth year in a row to stage an elaborate surprise for unsuspecting people in his community. He started by handing out candy canes, free hotel stays and Predators tickets around Nashville, then got to the main event.

He surprised a family that he met through his Blueline Buddies program, which invites underprivileged young people in Nashville to attend Predators games with members of local law enforcement, with a number of gifts. In addition to giving them a new living room furniture set, Subban brought in his friend, Montreal-based chef Antonio Park, to prepare a four-course holiday feast for the family.
