ABOUT THE 'YOTES:
• Arizona is 3-0-0 in the second game of back-to-back games this season with wins at Washington, at the New York Rangers and at San Jose. The Coyotes scored four goals in all three of those games.
• Darcy Kuemper will start in goal for Arizona, which has won three of its past four games. Kuemper, who did not play at Anaheim on Saturday, owns a 1.62 goals-against average and a .946 save percentage in two career appearances vs. Vegas.
• Alex Galchenyuk and Conor Garland both will enter tonight's game riding a four-game point streak. Both players have scored two goals during their streaks.
• The Coyotes will again play minus center Brad Richardson, who leads the team with 10 goals. Richardson has missed the past two games because he has the flu.
• Jakob Chychrun will look to extend his goal-scoring streak to three games. Chychrun notched a goal at Los Angeles on Thursday and at Anaheim on Saturday. He has scored three in 20 games this season.
"He's been working on (his shot) a lot in practice," Head Coach Rick Tocchet said. "One thing about 'Chych,' he works at his game. And when you work at your game, you get rewarded, and he has been."
