ABOUT THE 'YOTES:
• Arizona is 3-0-0 in the second game of back-to-back games this season with wins at Washington, at the New York Rangers and at San Jose. The Coyotes scored four goals in all three of those games.
Darcy Kuemper will start in goal for Arizona, which has won three of its past four games. Kuemper, who did not play at Anaheim on Saturday, owns a 1.62 goals-against average and a .946 save percentage in two career appearances vs. Vegas.
Alex Galchenyuk and Conor Garland both will enter tonight's game riding a four-game point streak. Both players have scored two goals during their streaks.
• The Coyotes will again play minus center Brad Richardson, who leads the team with 10 goals. Richardson has missed the past two games because he has the flu.
Jakob Chychrun will look to extend his goal-scoring streak to three games. Chychrun notched a goal at Los Angeles on Thursday and at Anaheim on Saturday. He has scored three in 20 games this season.
"He's been working on (his shot) a lot in practice," Head Coach Rick Tocchet said. "One thing about 'Chych,' he works at his game. And when you work at your game, you get rewarded, and he has been."

Oliver Ekman-Larsson needs one point to pass Keith Yandle and move into sole possession of first place for most points produced by a defenseman in Coyotes history, dating to 1996 when the team moved from Winnipeg to Phoenix. Ekman-Larsson has notched 311 points.
• Tocchet will enter the game needing one win to reach 100 as a head coach in the NHL.
ABOUT THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS:
• Vegas has earned at least one point in five straight games, including a 4-1 triumph at Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon ... After a ho-hum start to the season, the Golden Knights have climbed into fourth place in the Western Conference standings with 48 points ... William Karlsson leads Vegas with 15 goals and 30 points ... Brandon Pirri has notched four goals and one assist in five games played this season ... Marc-Andre Fleury leads the NHL with 35 starts and 21 victories, and is 8-5-1 with a 2.05 goals-against average against the Coyotes ... Vegas has won five of the six games it has played vs. Arizona since coming into the League in 2017-18, including all three games the teams have played at Gila River Arena.
