NEW YORK -- The National Hockey League (NHL) and ESPN+ Original have teamed up again for Quest For The Stanley Cup™, the groundbreaking behind-the-scenes documentary series chronicling the remaining eight teams - Carolina Hurricanes, Dallas Stars, Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers, New Jersey Devils, Seattle Kraken, Toronto Maple Leafs and Vegas Golden Knights - competing in the 2023 Stanley Cup® Playoffs and vying for the chance to hoist the Stanley Cup. The seven-episode series will drop weekly on Friday nights at 5 p.m. ET starting May 12, streaming exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S. and at YouTube.com/NHL in Canada and abroad, with re-airs on ESPN2. Back for an eighth season, the docuseries will bring viewers unparalleled access inside the Second Round, the Conference Finals and the Stanley Cup Final. Each episode will take fans through the unscripted drama on the ice, on the benches, in the dressing rooms and in the homes of players and members of the coaching staff. The weekly series is a compelling companion to the Playoffs viewing experience, offering exclusive access to every thrilling moment of every series, on and off the ice.

ESPN+ subscribers will have exclusive access to the entire series throughout the Playoffs as part of the platform's offering of original NHL content. Fans outside the U.S. will be able to watch Quest For The Stanley Cup on YouTube.com/NHL. Each episode will re-air on ESPN2. Clips and episode previews will be available across the NHL's social channels.

In 2016, the NHL became the first North American pro sports league to provide unfettered access to its postseason with the premiere of Quest For The Stanley Cup. Since its introduction, the series has received acclaim from fans and critics, garnering two Sports Emmys nominations to date. NHL Productions oversees all production operations, with NHL Chief Content Officer and Senior Executive Vice President Steve Mayer and Steven Stern serving as executive producers. Actor Corey Stoll will narrate the series.
