EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers have recalled forward Cooper Marody from the American Hockey League's (AHL) Bakersfield Condors.
Marody, 21, has played six games with the Oilers this season, including his first career NHL game on October 23 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The 6'0", 184-pound forward has appeared in 11 games with Bakersfield this season, posting 14 points (4G, 10A) and six penalty minutes. Marody has notched 17 points (5G, 12A) in 14 career AHL games.
The Oilers have also placed forward Drake Caggiula on injured reserve and have activated forward Valentin Zykov off non-roster.
