TBL@NSH: Pekka Rinne and Taylor Lewan drop the puck

It was a smashing puck drop in Nashville.

The 2022 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series had the perfect trio do the honors at the ceremonial face-off.
Longtime Tennessee Titans Brett Kern and Taylor Lewan joined Predators legend Pekka Rinne to kickoff the outdoor event at Nissan Stadium.
Kern, a member of the Titans for the past 13 seasons, is the team's all-time leading punter. Lewan, a three-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman, has spent all eight of his NFL seasons in Tennesse.
Rinne, who had his
No. 35 retired by the Predators
on Thursday, played 15 seasons in Nashville and retired as the team's leader in games played, wins, shutouts, goals-against average and saves. He was given a rousing ovation when he was announced to the sellout crowd of 68,619 in attendance.
Lewan, a well-known Predators superfan, also had a surprise up his sleeve. Or to be more accurate, in a cooler.
After the trio dropped the puck between Predators captain Roman Josi and Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos, Lewan reached into a cooler to pull out a catfish, which he then handed to Rinne to the crowd's delight.
