Ryan Graves COL

Ryan Graves signed a one-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche on Monday. Financial terms were not released.

The contract allows the 24-year-old defenseman to avoid an arbitration hearing.
Graves made his NHL debut at the Vegas Golden Knights on Dec. 27 and had five points (three goals, two assists) in 26 games. He also had nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 32 games for the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League.
A fourth-round pick (No. 110) of the New York Rangers in the 2013 NHL Draft, Graves was acquired by the Avalanche in a trade with the Rangers for defenseman Chris Bigras on Feb. 26, 2018.
