NEW YORK – Florida Panthers forward Ryan Lomberg has been fined $2,083.33, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for elbowing Ottawa Senators defenseman Jakob Chychrun during NHL Game No. 876 in Florida on Tuesday, Feb. 20, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 3:12 of the third period.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
